Once, a long time ago, I heard the statement, “To whom much is given much is expected.” It always resonated with me because I have felt very blessed during my life, so giving back seems only natural. I was able to share a give-back experience today with some of the members of SIS (Sisters in Success) as we painted a playhouse for Washington County Habitat for Humanity’s Project Playhouse.
It was wonderful for all of us to gather in the spirit of creativity and giving back. We had a fantastic time socializing and working together to create an object that will most certainly bring joy to the children who will be able to play in that playhouse. When we work side by side to do good things for our community and to help others, there is magic in the air.
I am grateful for the opportunity given to us by Habitat for Humanity and for the time I was able to spend with some very special women!
