We are in the midst of planning our July gathering of SIS where we will celebrate our one year anniversary! We have grown so much this year!
When the idea of SIS began to develop in my brain, I wanted to create an environment where women who had a wide range of life experiences and lessons learned could come together to share and grow. And that is precisely what has happened this past year.
We held four quarterly events with speakers and activities that helped us to grow individually and connect as a tribe of women. We have given back to our community through volunteer work, and we are looking forward to many other exciting adventures together!
As David Brooks made evident in his book, The Social Animal, we as human beings need to interact with one another-to be present for each other. I believe we of SIS have done just that. I can’t wait to see what is in store for us next!
